| After
a project period of two years, the Hessian Broadcasting station
went on air with d’accord in 1999. Europe-wide this
was the largest digitalisation project of a broadcasting
complex and therefore had an announcement effect for many
European broadcasting stations. Today 18 studios (incl. external
studios in Gießen, Kassel, Fulda, Darmstadt and Wiesbaden)
produce and broadcast radio programmes with a total of 6
channels on the basis of about 1800 work stations.
All d'accord
applications are used for production and broadcasting. Production
begins with data processing of current events. News
messages by agencies, contributions from the German public
radio station ARD-Sternpunkt or filetransfer are collected
and placed into a central storage. This way messages are accessible
for all employees and editorial offices. The d’accord.libraries
and the mediathek provide for a media appropriate administration.
News and contribution broadcasting also occurs via d'accord.
This means that all broadcastig content – apart from
advertisement – is produced by d’accord.
Also
the daily scheduling of the entire HR content is imaged with
the help of d’accord modules. This includes d'accord-Music
Scheduling as well.
In 18 studios broadcasting occurs with d’accord. d’accord.on
air assist and d’accord.cart assist belong to the equipment
of each studio.
Finally the archiving of music and aired content
is handled by d’accord. For this, an intelligent bidirectional
data exchange was implemented to the word and music data
base "ZWM-hr" via
a "UNIDAS- interface".
