| Since
1995 BRF the public radio broadcasting station of the German-speaking
Community of Belgium uses d'accord products. The original
d'accord-2 installation was up-dated Autumn of 2001 while
the radio station was on air.
BRF operates about 45 d'accord
work stations, which produce content for the three channels
BRF1, BRF2 and BRF-DLF. Thanks
to d’accord’s multichannel-capability, all three
channels are managed in a central database. Because of the
channel-specific image of the applications and the channel-selective
user rights management, the channels can be kept separate virtually
and still data exchange is possible.
With the help of these
system properties, the independent commercial broadcasting
station 100'5 DAS HITRADIO with its own d’accord
work stations could be integrated in the system without any
problem. This d’accord customer too, uses the technical
infrastructure as well as the music library contens of the
BRF.
In addition to the d'accord modules for archiving and
broadcasting, the BRF uses the following modules of the
d'accord system:
- d'accord NewsRoom as integrated news editing
system
with press agency play-in
- d'accord Rotation for
automatic music scheduling in consideration
of the
actual data
- d'accord CDAssist for fully automatic play-in
of
CDs with an NSM-CD-Jukebox
- d'accord OnAirSpy as recorder
for repeating text contributions.
